What this means is that all of your folders will be naturally sorted in every file browser by earliest to latest and so will your photos. Additionally, Elodie will use the EXIF to create a standardized file name for every photo across your entire library. The default folder structure is YYYY-MM/City Name. How does Elodie determine what folder a photo should be placed?Įlodie looks at each photo's EXIF data and applies a series of rules to determine which folder it should be placed. You'll continue to use Dropbox as your primary source of photos but a copy of each photo can be automatically added to a Google Photos account for those who prefer to use Google Photos for viewing or sharing. We're working on adding support for Google Photos as well. From then on you can add newly taken photos to your source folder and let Elodie keep your target library pristine and up-to-date. The first time you use Elodie you can put all of your photos in your source folder and Elodie will organize them. How does Elodie work with Dropbox and Google Photos?Įlodie takes all of the photos from a source folder and neatly organize them into a target folder. Have a question that's not answered below?
